How Do I Know If My Child Needs Help?
Your child may need help if he or she:
- Is not talking as much as would be expected for his/her age
- Has difficulty making and keeping friends
- Has difficulty listening and processing auditory input
- Struggles with holding utensils, buttoning or completing puzzles
- Does not handle transitions well
- Is a picky eater
- Is clumsy
- Is in constant motion
- Does not like to climb or swing
- Is having a hard time learning to ride a bike
- Seems to use a lot of force or tends to break pencils or crayons accidentally
- Has a hard time figuring out how to play with toys or plays with toys and objects in the same manner over and over
